The Olympia Hotel is set just off the A19 as you enter Selby heading south from York. It is a family run pub, owned by step-father and step-daughter team David Welsh and Gemma Bishop and operated by Christine Howden from 2012. Since it's occupation it has also been the official Tap House to the Jolly Sailor Brewery and Shop (located in the out buildings) and is also the sister-bar to the Jolly Sailor village tavern in Cawood.

The Olympia is a family and community-orientated pub with a large bar area, lots of parking, a large beer garden and 8 rooms of different sizes and specifications available as rented accommodation. The pub has a pool table, darts board, cycle store as well as televised SKY and BT Sports. We also offer free Wi-Fi to catch up on the days events whilst sitting outside in the sunshine with a glass of Jolly Blonde.

Most of the cask conditioned beer served at The Olympia is brewed onsite in the grounds and visitors and guests are able to purchase all the beers to take away to enjoy at home, with friends and family in their homes, or in the Olympia's very own accommodation rooms. All of our beer comes in cask (mainly for bars), as 5L, 10L & 20L Bag in Box (for both domestic and commercial uses) and our core beers are available in bottles. Occassionally, we do a run of small batch bottles for some of our Seasonal and Special beers too. If you want our beer, but can't get to the brewery in opening hours you can always collect it after hours from The Olympia just let us know during hours.

As well as being a tap house, The Olympia is tucked away in the shadow of Selby Abbey so is perfectly situated for a 5 minute walk into Selby. The pub also benefits from being directly on the Arriva 415 & 416 bus routes to and from York, and a short walk from Selby Station for the 402 & 403 buses to and from Leeds - both servcies run daily at approximately 15 minute intervals.
